Allentown, Pa.- Crosby, Stills & Nash, the folk rock trio known for four decades of performing "music that matters," will return to The Great Allentown Fair for a concert on Thursday, August 28.

Tickets for this show and two previously announced country music concerts will go on sale when the Fair box office opens on Saturday,  April 26. Alan Jackson with special guest Joe Nichols are scheduled to perform on Wednesday August 27 and Brooks & Dunn with special guest Rascal Flatts will appear on Saturday, August 30.

Tickets for each of these reserved seating shows are $37.  This price includes admission to the fair if purchased before the show dates.

This will be the fourth time in the fair's 151-year history that David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash will bring their harmonious vocal renditions to the historic grandstand venue.

The first time they performed before a sold-out fair audience was in 1985, just one month after a special reunion with former group member Neil Young for the Live-Aid benefit concert.  They returned in 1989 and 1996.

The trio initially claimed major recognition when playing at the original Woodstock festival in 1969.  Through the years, their songs often echoed sentiments of protesters during turbulent times. "Teach Your Children," "Southern Cross," "Woodstock," "Just A Song Before I Go," "Love the One Your With," "Marrakesh Express," and "Déjà vu," were among the early big singles they still include in their current performance sets.

Bonnie Brosious, the fair's marketing director and talent buyer, said that when the box office opens on April 26, it will sell tickets to the fair's traditional Labor Day demolition derby, the currently announced shows, and any additional concerts the fair confirms and announces before that date.
